How UP Influencer Shraddha Dubey Evaded Police for 11 Days in Shiva Sharma Murder Case
Model Shraddha Dubey, prime accused in the Shiva Sharma murder case, has revealed details of her 11-day escape across multiple states with the help of her boyfriend.

Investigation Unveils Elaborate Escape Route
Model and social media influencer Shraddha Dubey, the prime accused in the high-profile murder of Shiva Sharma, has disclosed intricate details of her 11-day evasion from law enforcement. According to investigators, Dubey relied on smaller hotels, utilized her driver as a shield, and eventually fled across state lines with the assistance of her boyfriend.
Dubey was apprehended in Nagpur through a joint operation by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) and the Lucknow Police. Following extensive hours of interrogation led personally by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), she was remanded to judicial custody.
The Timeline of Evasion
Investigators revealed that Dubey had been on the run since October 9, following the death of Shiva Sharma, who allegedly fell from the balcony of an apartment in Lucknow's Hazratganj area. While the incident was initially treated as an accidental fall, a subsequent murder case was registered after the victim's family alleged he was assaulted and tortured before being thrown from the building.
During her 11-day flight from justice, Dubey systematically avoided high-end establishments where identity verification is mandatory:
* Kanpur and Agra: On October 18, Dubey visited a Kanpur hotel to secure lodging. Fearing recognition after her photographs began circulating online, she abandoned the booking when asked for identification and traveled toward Nagpur. * Shelter Tactics: Despite her preference for luxury accommodations, she deliberately sought out smaller hotels and lounges that did not enforce strict ID protocols to conceal her identity. * Cross-Border Escape: Police investigations indicate that her boyfriend, Amir, accompanied her from Lucknow and allegedly facilitated her illegal entry into Nepal via Bahraich.
Expanding Probe and Lookout Circulars
Authorities have intensified their crackdown on individuals who aided the prime suspect's flight. A lookout circular was previously issued by the DCP out of concern that Dubey might attempt to flee the country.
Police are currently preparing to formally add Amir's name to the First Information Report (FIR) and are processing a financial reward for information leading to his capture. Investigators are also examining communications records to identify local contacts who provided logistical support during her travels across Rae Bareli, Kanpur, Agra, and Nagpur.
Law enforcement officials reiterated that a zero-tolerance approach will be adopted toward anyone found shielding the accused or obstructing the ongoing murder investigation.
