Fatal Midnight Crash

VISAKHAPATNAM: In a heartbreaking turn of events, a 26-year-old man was killed in the early hours of Monday when his recently purchased SUV reportedly overturned and plunged into the Krishna Mahanti Lake, located near Nathayyapalem in the Sheelanagar area of Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam.

The victim has been identified as Varun, a resident of the Muralinagar locality. According to local police and preliminary reports gathered by Daily News 365, the accident took place late Sunday night while Varun was driving toward his newly acquired flat in Sheelanagar.

Investigation and Circumstances

Investigators suspect that the vehicle went out of control as the driver attempted to negotiate a sharp turn in the area, leading the automobile to veer off the roadway and into the water body. Responding authorities arrived at the scene, but efforts to save the young driver proved unsuccessful.

Local sources noted that the SUV involved in the fatal crash was his dream vehicle, which he had purchased only recently.

Community in Mourning

News of the sudden tragedy has sent shockwaves through the local community, leaving family members, relatives, and friends completely devastated. The timing of the accident makes the loss even more profound, as Varun was scheduled to be married next month. What should have been a period of joyous celebration and preparation for the family has instead been plunged into deep grief and mourning as local authorities complete procedural formalities regarding the incident.
