Delhi Police Arrest Three Over Pro-Khalistan Graffiti at Metro Stations
Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested three individuals, including a woman, for allegedly painting pro-Khalistan slogans at two metro stations on the orders of SFJ handlers.

Security Breach at Capital Metro Stations
Delhi Police's Special Cell has apprehended three individuals in connection with a series of anti-national graffiti incidents targeting prominent Delhi Metro stations. The operation uncovers a coordinated network directed by handlers associated with the banned separatist outfit, Sikhs For Justice (SFJ).
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Narra Chaitanya, the accused were lured with promises of substantial financial compensation to execute the vandalism at strategic locations across the national capital.
The Arrests and Identification
The suspects have been identified as 30-year-old Sumeet, alias Raftar, a resident of Panipat, alongside 22-year-old Sumit Kumar, alias Kaka, and 22-year-old Gurpreet, both hailing from Punjab. Investigators pinpointed the operation's core after probing vandalism reported from multiple metro properties late last month.
Pro-Khalistan slogans and explicit threats targeting individuals deemed traitors to the community were discovered near Gate No. 1 of the Jahangirpuri metro station on October 29. A similar defacement was found the following day on an inner staircase wall near Gate No. 2 of the Shastri Nagar metro station. Further inquiry revealed that Sumeet had also sprayed similar graffiti near the GTK Bypass under the Samaypur Badli jurisdiction.
Recruitment and Modus Operandi
Police investigations established Sumit Kumar as the alleged mastermind of the local cell. Kumar was reportedly radicalized by SFJ sympathizers operating out of Ludhiana and Gurdaspur in Punjab.
* Encrypted Communication: Handlers instructed Kumar to download specialized encrypted messaging applications to receive instructions and design templates. * Travel and Execution: After recruiting Gurpreet and Sumeet online, the trio traveled to Delhi via taxi, arriving at ISBT Kashmere Gate on October 29. * Video Documentation: Sumeet painted the slogans at Jahangirpuri, recorded the act on video, and transmitted the footage back to his overseas handlers as proof of execution.
Authorities revealed that Kumar and Gurpreet had maintained a four-year acquaintance after crossing paths while employed in the hospitality sector in Haryana. Kumar allegedly manipulated Gurpreet into traveling to Delhi under the guise of a routine shopping trip before disclosing the actual objective.
Ongoing Investigation
Law enforcement agencies are currently working to map the broader network behind the operation. Investigators are examining financial trails and digital footprints to identify additional local operatives and foreign-based handlers linked to the banned outfit.
