Final Opportunity for Stranded Students

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has announced a crucial final opportunity for undergraduate and postgraduate students who have been unable to complete their academic degrees within the standard timeline. The university administration has set a strict deadline of November 6, 2026, for eligible candidates to submit their applications.

According to official notifications issued by the university, this special provision is exclusively intended for students whose course duration has lapsed and whose maximum permissible examination attempts concluded by June 2026. However, applicants must have successfully fulfilled all primary course requirements to qualify for these terminal examinations.

Examination Schedule and Format

The university has structured the offline examinations to cover both odd and even semesters over the coming academic cycle:

- Odd Semester Examinations: Scheduled to be conducted between December 2026 and January 2027. - Even Semester Examinations: Planned for May to June 2027.

Students intending to appear are required to compile and submit a comprehensive list of specific subjects and papers they wish to clear. A mandatory procedural requirement states that all application forms must bear the physical signatures of the respective Dean, Director, or Principal of the institution.

Fee Structure and Compliance

Candidates opting for this final examination window are subject to a specific fee framework established by the university. Applicants must deposit a continuation fee of Rs 25,000, alongside an additional fee of Rs 1,200 for each individual subject they register to take.

Daily News 365 editorial desk advises all eligible candidates to adhere strictly to the November 6 deadline to avoid permanent forfeiture of their degree completion prospects.
