The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is gearing up to launch its dedicated Samvaad-Parent Connect App, a comprehensive digital initiative designed to bridge the communication gap between educational institutions and parents. The platform will allow parents to monitor their children's daily attendance, examination results, overall academic progress, and crucial school announcements in real-time.

The upcoming application will serve families with children enrolled in more than 1,200 Kendriya Vidyalaya branches nationwide, marking a significant step toward modernizing administrative tracking and parental engagement in the public school system.

Mandatory Mobile and Email Verification

Ahead of the official rollout, KVS has mandated a thorough verification process for contact details registered by parents. Class teachers are currently executing this verification protocol through the official SAMAGAM portal.

To complete the verification, parents receive separate one-time passwords (OTPs) on their registered mobile numbers and designated email addresses. Both authentication codes must be submitted to the respective class teachers to validate the profile.

KVS has stipulated that each student profile must reflect a 'Completed' status before verification can be processed. School principals and regional administrative offices are actively monitoring the daily progress of this verification drive, with a strict deadline established for early November.

Security Guidelines and Warnings

Amidst the verification process, education authorities have issued strict advisories cautioning parents against compromising their account security. KVS explicitly warned stakeholders never to share their OTPs over phone calls, public messaging applications, or social media platforms.

To assist families through the technical procedures, schools have been instructed to distribute step-by-step user manuals and, where necessary, organize targeted parent-teacher consultations to ensure complete compliance ahead of the application's nationwide deployment.
