Lucknow — The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has officially opened the objection window for the provisional examination centres shortlisted for the upcoming Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations in 2027. Students, parents, and school administrators can now review the provisional list and submit formal objections online.

According to the official notice issued by UPMSP Secretary Bhagwati Singh, the board has uploaded the tentative list of examination centres alongside student allocations onto the official state portal. A total of 7,526 examination centres have been provisionally shortlisted across the state following a rigorous online selection process.

Breakdown of Shortlisted Centres

The provisional list encompasses a mix of government-run institutions, government-aided schools, and unaided private facilities across all districts of Uttar Pradesh. The current breakdown includes:

* Government Schools: 862 centres * Government-Aided Schools: 3,276 centres * Unaided Private Schools: 3,388 centres

The foundational data utilized for this selection process was thoroughly verified and updated by local Tehsil Level Committees, ensuring accountability and structural compliance before the provisional allocations were finalized.

How to File Objections

Stakeholders who identify discrepancies or wish to raise legitimate concerns regarding the provisional centre list must act before the deadline of October 28, 2026.

Representations can be submitted digitally through the UPMSP portal to the respective District Centre Determination Committee. The board has mandated that all objections must include valid reasoning accompanied by verifiable supporting evidence. Submissions received after the expiration of the deadline will be summarily rejected.

Once filed, the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) will review the grievances and coordinate timely resolutions within the stipulated timeframe to ensure a smooth administrative rollout ahead of the 2027 examinations.
