Greater Noida BBA Student Dies by Suicide After Jumping From High-Rise Building
An 18-year-old business administration student died after allegedly jumping from the 19th floor of a high-rise residential complex in Greater Noida.

Incident Details
An 18-year-old college student tragically lost his life on Thursday morning after jumping from the 19th floor of a high-rise residential building in Greater Noida. The incident occurred at approximately 4:00 AM within the premises of Pristine Avenue Society, located in the Gautam Buddh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh.
According to local law enforcement authorities, the victim has been identified as Aditya Arora, a resident of Tower A within the same residential complex. Preliminary investigations indicate that Arora left his family apartment early in the morning without prior notice, accessed Tower B, and proceeded to the 19th floor before taking the fatal step.
Family Background and Investigation
Police officials stated that Arora was enrolled in a first-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program at a private institution in neighboring Ghaziabad. Initial inquiries suggest a potential friction regarding career aspirations; family members informed investigators that the young student harbored a strong ambition to pursue a career in acting, whereas familial expectations steered him toward management studies.
However, investigators emphasized that it remains premature to conclusively link academic or career-related pressure directly to the tragedy. Town in-charge Ranjeet Singh confirmed that no suicide note was recovered from the scene. Family members reported that while Arora had appeared visibly distressed over preceding days, there were no documented altercations, scoldings, or acute domestic disputes immediately prior to the incident.
Official Response and Next Steps
The local police station has registered the case and initiated a comprehensive inquiry to ascertain the exact circumstances leading up to the tragedy. The victim's mortal remains have been dispatched for a post-mortem examination.
Arora is survived by his parents and a younger brother. Local authorities continue to interview acquaintances and family members as part of the ongoing investigation.
