Family Seeks Urgent Help After Contact Lost

A 41-year-old Indian national from Mangaluru has been reported missing in Israel, leaving his family in deep distress after all communication ceased on October 16. The missing individual has been identified as Shadrack Emmanuel, a resident of Kodakkal in Kannur, near Padil, Mangaluru.

According to his family members, Shadrack had been living and working in Israel for the past year and a half. He was initially employed with an Israeli firm in Tel Aviv before transitioning to a role at UCT Liquid Solution Company in Nof HaGalil, located near Nazareth.

The last known contact from Shadrack was a message sent to his wife at 8:49 pm on October 16, which followed a brief video call. Since that night, however, his mobile phone has remained unreachable, and he has failed to get in touch with his relatives.

Diplomatic and Police Appeals Lodged

Fearing for his safety amid the ongoing geopolitical tensions and security concerns in the region, the family escalated the matter to authorities. On October 21, they formally emailed a distress complaint to the Indian Embassy in Israel, urging diplomatic intervention to trace his whereabouts.

In addition to reaching out to the embassy, the family has formally approached the local administration, lodging a complaint with Mangaluru Police Commissioner Sudhir Kumar Reddy. Local political representatives, including Dakshina Kannada MP Captain Brijesh Chowta and Karnataka Minister UT Khader, have also been briefed on the situation, with the family requesting their support to expedite the search efforts through official channels.

As investigations and diplomatic inquiries continue, the family awaits official updates from authorities regarding Shadrack's safety and current location.
