Ahmedabad Jolt: 19 Simultaneous Bomb Threats Target Schools, Courts, and Narendra Modi Stadium
A coordinated wave of 19 bomb threats struck critical infrastructure in Ahmedabad, including schools, judicial courts, municipal offices, and the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Security Apparatus on High Alert
AHMEDABAD — In a massive security scare, nineteen bomb threat messages were simultaneously directed at prominent institutions across Ahmedabad on Tuesday. The coordinated threats targeted educational facilities, judicial courts, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) offices, and the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium, triggering immediate evacuations and extensive anti-sabotage sweeps.
According to confirmations from senior cybercrime branch officials, the alarming communications began arriving early in the morning via electronic mail. Security agencies swiftly mobilized bomb detection and disposal squads alongside specialized dog squads to sanitize the targeted zones.
Anatomy of the Threat
Out of the 19 confirmed threat alerts, 14 specifically targeted schools across the city. Judicial complexes bore the brunt of two threats, while administrative buildings including the AMC and Mayor's Office received two warnings. One specific threat targeted the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera.
Cybercrime investigators analyzing the origin of the messages pointed to a specific email address—`reduak079@gmail.com`—which dispatched a warning titled "Warning! BOM|B Blast Ahmedabad Schools @ 1:11 PM". The communication was sent at 9:10 a.m. to multiple educational institutions, including C.N. Vidyavihar and Shree Narayana Guru School.
Ideological References and Travel Warnings
The threatening emails contained aggressive rhetoric, invoking slogans such as "KHALISTAN Zindabad" and "KHOON ka BADLA KHOON da," while purporting to represent the Khalistan National Army and referencing Babbar Khalsa. Additionally, the sender warned citizens against traveling to the Motera Stadium Metro station on November 21—the slated date for a major public concert by Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh.
Further compounding security concerns, the email cautioned recipients against picking up discarded iPhones found on public thoroughfares, alleging they could be rigged as explosive devices.
Swift Administrative and Police Response
Following the receipt of the threats, local law enforcement protocols were activated immediately. Schools suspended classes, safely evacuating students and urging parents to collect their wards. Municipal headquarters were similarly cleared of staff as specialized teams conducted thorough sanitization operations.
While preliminary investigations are currently underway to trace the digital footprint of the sender and verify the credibility of the threats, law enforcement authorities have urged citizens to remain calm, vigilant, and report any suspicious objects immediately. Senior officials confirmed that security remains heightened across all major public venues in the city as the cybercrime branch pursues multiple leads.
