Delhi Traffic Advisories Issued Around JLN Stadium for Diljit Dosanjh Concert
Delhi Traffic Police have announced extensive road restrictions and diversions around JLN Stadium for the upcoming Diljit Dosanjh concert.

Major Traffic Restrictions Imposed Around JLN Stadium
autoridades in the national capital have issued a comprehensive traffic advisory ahead of Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh's highly anticipated 'Aura India Tour 2026' concert, scheduled to take place at the Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) Stadium. Commuters navigating South and Central Delhi on Friday have been advised to plan alternate routes to avoid severe congestion.
The traffic restrictions will remain in effect from 1:00 PM until midnight. According to the advisory issued by the Delhi Traffic Police, six primary diversion points have been established across key arterial stretches, with two additional backup points prepared to handle sudden surges in vehicle volume.
Affected Routes and Key Stretches
Motorists should expect heavy restrictions and regulated movement across several major roadways, including:
* Bhishm Pitamah Marg and Lodhi Road * Lala Lajpat Rai Marg (stretching between Defence Colony and the Lodhi Colony Flyover) * Arch Bishop Marg, 4th Avenue Road, and 5th Avenue Road * Barapullah Flyover (the segment connecting INA and Jangpura Metro Gate 2) * Dayal Singh College Road and internal roadways within the CGO Complex and Lodhi Colony
At the crucial Lodhi Road-Dayal Singh College Road intersection, vehicles will be barred from entering Dayal Singh College Road. However, traffic flowing along Lodhi Road will be permitted to continue toward the Lodhi Flyover or Aurobindo Marg. Dedicated diversions will also be enforced at major junctions along Lala Lajpat Rai Marg and Bhishm Pitamah Marg to prevent direct bottlenecks near the venue.
Public Transit and Parking Guidelines
With zero public parking available at or immediately surrounding the JLN Stadium venue, law enforcement agencies have strongly urged attendees to rely on public transportation.
* Metro Access: Concert-goers using the Violet Line can utilize the JLN Stadium and Jangpura metro stations to access Gates 13, 14, and 17. Alternatively, the Yellow Line's INA and Jor Bagh stations provide direct connectivity to designated drop-off points for Gates 3, 6, and 8. * Parking & Taxis: Official invitees are authorized to park at the Sunehri Pula Bus Depot and Dayal Singh College grounds. Taxis, cabs, and auto-rickshaws must strictly utilize designated pick-up and drop-off zones to maintain traffic flow.
Daily News 365 correspondents remind commuters to factor in extended travel windows, strictly adhere to directives from on-ground traffic personnel, and completely avoid unauthorized roadside parking near the stadium perimeter.
