Kolkata Horror: Father and Son Paraded Naked Over Teen Relationship, Three Arrested
Three members of a 13-year-old girl's family have been arrested in Kolkata after a teenager, his father, and a friend were allegedly forced to strip and walk through streets.

Horror in South Kolkata
Kolkata police have arrested three individuals, including the parents and maternal uncle of a 13-year-old girl, following a horrifying incident in south Kolkata where a 17-year-old boy, his father, and his friend were allegedly forced to strip and paraded naked through the streets. The brutal ordeal was reportedly triggered after the teenage boy was caught kissing the girl.
According to senior law enforcement officials within the Sarsuna Police Station limits, the incident took place on Sunday evening, immediately drawing intense public outrage and threatening to spiral into wider civic unrest.
Captivity and Coercion
Preliminary police investigations reveal that the girl's family intercepted the two teenagers. The 17-year-old boy and his friend were subsequently dragged into a room, held captive, and subjected to severe physical assault by the girl's parents and maternal uncle.
In a shocking escalation, the boy was allegedly forced under duress to call his father to the location. When the father arrived, he too was targeted by at least six individuals present at the scene.
Recounting the horrifying ordeal to reporters, the father stated that the girl's maternal uncle handed him a firearm, presenting him with a chilling ultimatum: either shoot his own son or strip and walk naked alongside him through the neighborhood.
"People took videos of me, my son and his friend walking naked. It was such a humiliation for us," the distraught father said.
Swift Police Action and Legal Charges
Following a formal complaint lodged by the victim's father, local authorities registered a comprehensive criminal case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The charges include attempt to murder, voluntarily causing hurt or grievous hurt using dangerous weapons, wrongful confinement, defamation, criminal intimidation, and kidnapping.
While some members of the girl's family initially managed to flee before police intervention, law enforcement teams swiftly tracked down and arrested the girl's parents at their residence. The maternal uncle was apprehended by enraged local residents and handed directly over to the police.
"We are trying to find out the firearm and enquire from where that was procured," a senior police officer confirmed, adding that investigators are working to identify and arrest all remaining accomplices involved in the assault.
Public Outrage and Official Condemnation
A video purportedly capturing portions of the incident subsequently circulated on social media platforms, sparking intense local tension. A crowd of angry residents attempted to march on and vandalize the girl's residence, prompting the deployment of a heavy police contingent to restore order and stabilize the situation.
Weighing in on the grim episode, West Bengal Municipal Affairs and Urban Development Minister Agnimitra Paul expressed deep shock and vowed uncompromising legal action.
"Nobody will be spared. I want to assure all people of Bengal that those behind the incident will be dealt with strictly according to law. Political affiliation would not be a shield," Paul stated.
Daily News 365 will continue to follow this developing investigation closely as police pursue further arrests and recover forensic evidence.
